Daniel Dandreo

I am Daniel J Dandreo the third, and I am the third generation to be in the construction and real estate development business following my father and grandfather. My grandfather was a stone mason who immigrated to the United States from Italy at the age of 14 with his twelve year old sister. The Dandreo name is well known all over the North Shore and Eastern Massachusetts for construction and development. In Swampscott Mass, a street is named after my grandfather. In our immediate family alone, I have 4 brothers all with construction businesses on the North Shore as well as two sons. Trucks and equipment with the Dandreo name are all over Eastern Massachusetts. There is no more well-known or reliable name in the construction and development business.

We are professional managers and leaders of people. We have been successfully developing properties, building, selling, and managing residential and commercial real estate in the North of Boston area since 1983.

We have developed and constructed more than 250 single family homes, and have built over 5 miles of road. We have developed, owned and operated restaurants, bakeries, banks, mini-golf courses, and office space. We have renovated over 100,000 square feet of office space and more than 1000 apartments. We have blasted over a half million cubic yards of ledge on our developments. We provide consultation service to public and private lenders as well as non-profits organizations.

I have made presentations before Planning Boards, Conservation Commissions and Municipal Governments for 33 years. I have testified in court as an expert witness for both construction and zoning issues, and have provided engineering services to several municipal boards for 30 years. We have provided development feasibility study services to several banks.

For many years now, I have operated every phase of my life under the KISS principal. Life and business should be simple and not complicated.

I am also an avid and competitive poker player. My wife and I have traveled all over the United States exploring and playing in both the largest and smallest poker rooms, many glamorous, and many more simple neighborhood and community type operations. Virtually all of our trips were for fact finding for the intention of someday opening our own poker room.
